#SoundtrackSaturday kicks off with music for my vampire series

Music is a huge influence for me. It can conjure up a mood and even help build a character. If you’ve read the first two Sophie Morgan books, you’ll notice that there’s more than a passing reference to some of my inspiring tunes. To celebrate some of these musical favourites, I’ll be posting a soundtrack to The Sophie Morgan Vampire Series on Facebook and Twitter throughout the day. Make sure you stop by and enjoy some fine tunes as part of ‪#‎SoundtrackSaturday‬ …. I think I may have invented a hashtag there!

Don’t forget to use the #SoundtrackSaturday hashtag. Share with us your favourite or inspiring tracks from or inspired by books.
If time is tight for you today, you can also listen to a selection of tracks on my YouTube channel.

Listening to the YouTube tracks (need to concentrate on work today so can’t keep flitting in and out of Twitter 😉 ) – I ADORE Edith Piaf, so great way to start off over in Antwerp!

I rediscovered her around seven years ago when I was made redundant for the second time in three months. listened to it non regrets every day as I walked to the shops to buy the things I needed on my small budget. I had decided that I would leave that whole industry (recruitment, like Sophie Morgan) behind me and change direction. A year later I had moved back to Wales, was engaged and everything work wise was completely different. It was the turning point for me. I started writing again too.

I love Edith Piaf!! Love how you rediscovered yourself and started writing again. Will watch out on Saturday!
